Hello, I am the Debt Man's Wife and I thought I would start a blog to help keep track of my husband's debt, ideas to get it all paid off and build his credit score.
Even though he is a great guy, he has made some poor choices when managing his money.
That is where I come in. I already owned a home when we were married 8 years ago. I have no debt, but my mortgage, but he came into our marriage with lots of debt.
First off, he didn't file his taxes for 3 years, so for the first four years of our marriage, the tax man took all of our income tax returns to pay back his debt. I didn't know about this before I married him, but it is over now and we have come to some mutual understanding.
So, first off, I will post a new entry on what needs to be dealt with and try to get some solutions.
